I signed up with Westmeath Volunteer Centre as a volunteer as I wanted to gain experience in a community organisation. I found the volunteer centre very helpful, they contacted me shortly after I registered with them. I applied for a volunteer position with Athlone Community Radio and started volunteering.  Michelle was very consistent throughout the process.  I am now working at the radio as the volunteer Co-ordinator. I would highly recommend registering with the Centre.
